Three Smart Girls
They plot to bring their divorced parents (Charles Winninger and Nella Walker) back together again. The movie made Durbin a star, and ushered in an eight-year era of successful Deanna Durbin musicals.
The film was written by Adele Comandini and Austin Parker, and directed by Henry Koster. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Drake later must compete on his girlfriends' team in a "Quizbowl"-esque competition. Josh radios him the answers for a large portion of the competition. No Nudes Playboy Out
The first edition might be tame, but it will get more vulgar. Even if it had no pictures of women in it, we would still protest it because of the name.

Condition of Indonesian women
Kartini's letters also expressed her hopes for support from overseas. In her correspondence with Estell "Stella" Zeehandelaar, Kartini expressed her desire to be like a European youth. Women, and Giftedness
A New Psychology of Girls, Women, and Giftedness
by Barbara A. Kerr, Ph.D.
Let's start with the facts. Gifted girls do not go as far as gifted boys in achieving status, high pay, and fame in society when they become women. And yet, the vast majority of them (more than average women) report happiness in life. They tend to suffer greater problems with self-esteem, downplaying of their abilities, and lowering of their expectations as they progress through school.
These are the facts. They can be interpreted and reacted to in various ways. Kerr performs her analysis from a position of assuming that gifted girls should achieve high-status positions like doctor, lawyer, professor, and CEO at the same rate as gifted boys. That is, children with the same high potential should reach the same high level of achievement in life.
